Supertroopers is one of my favorite movies, i don't know why, its really not that great, but its does have a lot of "one liners".
Krystal is trying on dress clothes for a video speech thing she has to give, and i am the fashion judge for this event. It's interesting, as i have never seen her in dress clothing. Krystal likes her band shirts and jeans, so if you ever see her dressed up then you should feel privilaged, as it does not happen often.
The first winter storm of the season is coming Tuesday evening, i am excited as Krystal has never seen snow so early. She said to me that when it snows it's Christmas time; for us up here it means deer season, or Thanksgiving.
I went out for milk today and came back with:
1) One gallon white Milk
2) Half-Gallon Chocolate Milk
3) Stuff magazine (Krystal loves mens mags like FHM and Maxim)
4) Sour Cream and Onion Pringles
5) Potato Chips Layes
6) 750 mL Jose Cuervo Tequila (i don't really like Tequila)
7) 750 mL Strawbarry Schnapps (mmmm)
8) 750 mL Shakka Kiwi (like Schnapps. Apple Shakka is yummy too)
9) 12 pack of Mountian Dew
Side Note) If you haven't tried Shakka I would recommend doing so, its good stuff.
The moral is the story is: Never send me out for milk.

HAHA! New Shoes|
Krystal and i got some new shoes, i have posted pics of them below... aren't we cool :p
These are Krystal's new green converse... aren't they spiffy
These are my new pink converse...
and here are our shoes together...http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b390/hopeless42/NewShoes003.jpg
I think i have 7 weeks left 'til graduation, the first 9 weeks just flew by... oh, i got a 90% on my mixolgy practical, so i can make about 40 drinks from memory. For a political science major i am doing pretty well in a Bar and Beveragment class, but its a pretty fun class, and fairly challenging too, if you are looking for some fun classes at NMU i would recommend HM330 (Bar and Bev) and BC272 (TV Production) both are hands on classes that offer differant experiances for people who are used to just reading books or listening to an instructor lecture.
ps Marquette is a hard place to find converse shoes, i had to order them online... ok, its 3:11am, time for sleep.....

Which is better?|
Is Gray Goose vodka better then the well brands?
Krystal and I saw a hockey game on... friday, NMU won, though it was only the USA under 18 team. It was a lot of fun though. Krystal got a kick out of the phrases we used, like "Cya Bitch" and when penalties were over and the vistiting team went back to full strength, "Team USA is back to full strenght... and they still suck".... ahhhh hockey games. Krystal also enjoyed the hitting... but thats why i love her so much... liking hockey games that is... i don't like it when she beats me =P
Tonight we saw War of the Worlds (2005). It was alright, i give it C . Then we went shopping at walmart at about 1am. Oh, i geuss there was a bomb threat at walmart earlier today, crazy. Then we stopped by Micky-Ds and grabbed some nuggets, then settled in for some classic Night Court.
But really, is there a differance between Gray Goose and say 5o'clock vodka?

Well it has been over a month since Krystal and i have begun living together. It's been good. It's nice to have someone there... to do your laundry and dishes... i kidd, but that is what she is doing now. Let me state that i did not force her to do them, they just needed to be done, and i had to go to class (where i am at now), and i think the main reason she is doing them is because she feeling like she is living off me and contributing nothing. In short Krystal hates to feel like a "slacker", in her words. The other times we would just do laundry together and i would do dishes sometimes and she would other times. But yeah, it's nice to roll over at night, or in the morning, and put your arm around someone, and have them make some cute noise.
The weekend was fine. We saw a movie, The Man. We ate at Applebees, which was horribly slow, it took about an hour and twenty minutes to get our food. I think our server forgot to put the order in, and that is why it was so slow, so he got no tip. I made my first real drink, a Georgia Peach, it was pretty good and i was quiet proud of myself.
I honestly can not wait 'til the weather turns cool. I like the snow, and the snow-days. It so easy to sleep-in when it is cold and gray all day. I just like to bundle up, and feel warm and cozy.
New Family Guy comes out tomorrow and i am going to get it, also i have no class, so i can be lazy... which is pretty much what i do all the time.
Oh! I took the writing proficiency exam on Saturday. Cross your fingers for me, i hope i passed it.

Krystal and i went for a walk|
It's been quite some time since I have updated. It has, however, been an interesting and exciting four weeks. Summer classes, well class in my case, ended on August 2nd; the next morning i left for Missouri. I had been sick for about a week, with high fever, general feeling of nausea, soreness... all that fun stuff. By the time i left i was feeling better, but getting up at 5am didn't help in the recovery. The 15ish hour drive was long and hot. I drank soooo much water that i had to stop like every 45mins in at the begining of the trip. I arrived in Mount Vernon, MO at about 9pm-ish; feeling rather out of it all. Krystal insisted on taking my temperature - it was about 104F. After a brief two day rest, from the long drive, Krystal and I left for Marquette. We stayed in Marquette for a few days and then left for my parents house. Once there she applied to LSSU (yeah i know, Lake State... ewww, but its only 20mins from home for me). She, of course, got in, as she is a super uber genius. We returned to Marquette after four days with my parents. In Marquette we spent time being a boring couple, it was really quite fun =P On August 16th we left for Missouri, so she could get ready for school, which, for her, started on the 22nd. Once in Joplin - Where MSSU is located - we moved her stuff into her apartment. Then we played around town with her cool friends, teh M and Noa... or Emily and Jessica as they are legally known. I had planed on leaving to get ready for classes, and to give me and her time to recover from the loss of eachother, on Sunday but i could not do it, so that Sunday night Krystal and i went for a walk. After much "emotion" and talk, we found that there was no real reason why we could not be together now, soooooo ... the next day she changed all her classes to online classes, which were closed so she had to go to the vice-president of distance learning, we had to move all her things out of her room, and check-out; it was all alot of work. Then we had to tell everyone, like her parents and close friends. That all went better then i thought it would, but they all miss her muchly. Soooo after another 15ish hour drive we are together =) and she is all moved in... so to make it short, i get my own little winter heater =P

So i just ran out to pick up some food and on the drive i noticed that gas is $2.49 a gallon... my mom sent me an email and it's $2.54 back home. I remember when i first got my drivers license, my friends and i were joking how we just got our licenses and now high gas prices had rose to $1.53 a gallon... and now, holy wow, $2.49 a gallon
In other news Krystal has a migraine headache, feel better sweetie; i love you.
P.S. Krystal and Hope are the same person... just thought i should mention that, i have gotten some questions =P Krystal Hope (for security reasons i will not give out her last name =P)

Severe Thunder Warning|
Wow, what an amazing two weeks. I have been holding out on the whole journal thing, but i haven't forgotten about it.
On Friday, June 11th, i left for Mount Vernon Missouri. 914 miles and 14hours (driving hours) later i was there. On the night of the 11th i stayed at a Quality Inn, in Pacific, Missouri. I would suggest not staying in a Quality Inn, too pricy. The next morning i left for Krystal's.
It was a fast drive. All i could think about was her.
I pulled up to the house and, not knowing what to do, i tried calling her cell phone. However the call got dropped. So i walk up to the door and ring the bell and was greeted by her little sister. Just then she comes walking out, trying to shoo the kids away. She was so cute, so beautiful... (and still is)... it took a bit before we realized what was going on... this wasn't a phone call or a chat online, we were together.
My time at her home was spent getting to know her family, friends and town(s). I was there from the 12th to the 15th. Everything was wonderful. Her family... what can i say, everyone has an interesting family. Crazy yet loving, kids. Parents seem easy going and sarcastic, yet firm and protective. For fun Krystal and i went went to movies, the malls, and ate at restaurants. I had sushi, not that bad either.
On morning of the 15th we left for Marquette. 14 hours later we were there. In Marquette we saw the Marquette sites. She was amazed by the all the water and i thought that was cute.
On the 17th we took a walk at Presque Isle Park. We grabbed a camera and headed out on the Breakwall. The day was beautiful, everything had been so perfect. After a few minutes i thought it time to head back. As i put my hand in hers and started to head back she stopped. She looks at me and, in her own way, asks me to marry her. Yes!! of course i will... so on Friday June 17th 2005 i got engaged :) its been 10days now... It was amazing... other then that we walked around the campus and ate at restaurants and were basiclly lazy.
On the 19th we headed for my home. There she met my family. Again we did the restaurant thing and just hung out together. The simple things were the best.
On the 22nd we left for her home, as she needed to be home for her birthday on the 23rd. That night we stayed at a hotel in Delavan Wisconsin. Slept in a bit and left there at 11am. Made it to Mount Vernon at 9pm on the 23rd. Only 2 more days :(
The next two days were spent... together... abosorbing eachother. I saw her school and we went to a cool coffee house.
On the 26th i had to leave to attend a summer class that started today. It was such a sad day, we both couldn't help but cry. It was a long and lonely drive back to Marquette. I missed looking over and seeing her face, i miss holding her hand. And now i miss everything about her... i'll see her again, but i want to be selfish for once... soon...
The past two weeks were the best of my life, its too bad that i had to leave. But i now know what a beautiful, wonderful, smart, and silly fiancee i have. I love her so very much. And i look forward to the time we will have together.
In other news, there is a storm warning... =P

I never really got into starwars but one of the movies is on Fox right now, so i am watching it.
Basiclly i have been doing very little and currently, and most of the time, my mind is focused on one person - Hope. It's hard to find other things to talked about for my journals; and i am sure people aren't very interested about how in love i am =P but i am very happy and do love her very much ... sorry about that ... she is prolly going to read this and beat me up =P

Now i am really not a biblical person, but i found this rather interesting.
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If
I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not
love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where
there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it
will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When
I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I
reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind
me. Now we see but a poor reflection as
in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I
shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
